BSc (Hons) International Business Management

This degree is suitable for students who aspire to a management career with a multinational company or within a business operating internationally The taught modules cover all the major functional areas of business from finance and marketing to human resource management and information management; but in addition, they also examine the cultural, ethical and interpersonal challenges that arise when working within a multicultural business environment and when operating across international boundaries. Finally, the third-year major project allows students to utilise all the skills and knowledge gained throughout the course and combine them in a piece of original real-world research that will help to further develop their professional skills and future career prospects.

Entry Requirement

For entry in 2016, ARU London standard offer is 260 UCAS tariff points from 3 ‘A’ levels, e.g. BCC.

For entry in September 2017, ARU London's standard offer is 104 UCAS tariff points from 3 A Levels, e.g. BCC.

Alternatively, ARU London asks for

Irish Leaving Certificate BBCCC.

Scottish Highers BBCCC.

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DMM in a business-related subject.

International Baccalaureate Diploma: 24 points.

We also welcome applications from mature individuals who can demonstrate appropriate, relevant work experience.

All applicants are required to have at least 5 GCSEs at C or above including English and Maths.

English / Maths language requirements

Candidates whose first language is not English must have passed IELTS with a minimum overall score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each sub-test or a recognised equivalent.

Candidates who meet our academic entry requirements but whose score for IELTS (or an English language test considered the equivalent of IELTS) is below 6.0 can apply for a programme that includes an eight-week pre- sessional English Language course, for which there is an additional fee.
